José Guilherme Marques is a photographer and multidisciplinary creative whose work spans photography, filmmaking, curation, writing, and editorial direction. Rooted in Porto, Portugal, his practice combines a visual sensibility with a growing focus on sound, listening, and collective cultural experiences.

Previously Editorial Producer at Canal180, he developed international conversations around arts and culture. He has since collaborated with festivals, institutions, and publications such as Primavera Sound, Le Guess Who?, Annassurra, Niepoort, Slanted Magazine, Index, among others.

Alongside commissioned work, José Guilherme is the founder of Rádio Jardim, an independent mobile community radio that rethinks how sound can occupy public space. Through this project, he explores themes of sustainable and adaptable cultural formats, decentralization, and the potential of public listening as a curatorial practice. His current trajectory combines hands-on creative production with critical reflection, seeking to bridge local communities with international cultural networks.
